Consultation and Training

Leeds Mentoring staff have developed a wide range of mentoring expertise including mentor support to both the education and business communities. In 2002 Leeds Mentoring was awarded the National Mentoring Network’s DfES/Home Office ‘Approved Provider’ quality standard. The orgainsation remains at the forefront of mentoring initiatives, which has enabled opportunities to offer consultancy and training to local, regional and national organisations. Leeds Mentoring pride themselves in being pro-active and managing one of the largest mentoring programme in the country.

Consultancy work includes:

• developing peer mentoring
• e-mentoring programmes
• subject specific mentoring
• training of mentors
• recruitment and retention strategies
• specialist work in gender and race issues
• monitoring, tracking and evaluation of mentoring projects
• developing industry based personal development mentoring projects.
